A Blossoming New Addition-The Nike Air Max 90 Blue Floral

Concept artists have outdone themselves yet again. And perhaps, outdone Nike’s actual artistic directors as well in some cases such as with this brand new Air Max 90. With back-to-back masterpieces, it’s about time these directors take notice and take notes. Presenting, the new Nike Air Max 90 Blue Floral!

Over the course of just a few months, we’ve seen various designers put their designing prowess on full display on the Air Max 90. With concepts ranging from the Air Max 90 Volt Orange to many others. It appears there’s no shortage of fresh new colorways that the Swoosh may eventually adopt.

Released in 1990, the Air Max 90 transcended sports and became cultural icons. Not just within the US, these kicks also found their way into European markets. Being one of the first Nike sneakers

With its attractive new design, artists all over the world took notice. Thus started experimenting with this silhouette. Applying a plethora of different color combinations and designs.

This novel Air Max 90 takes things to a whole new level. Applying a matte black finish to the upper, something we’ve seen various times these past few months, and adds Laser Blue hues with special rose graphics.

At first glance, this concept is highly reminiscent of the Air Jordan 4 Paisley Blue concept. However, instead of the “Paisley” patterns, opts for vivid blue roses.

The construction of these sneakers features mesh and leather. The former appears in a jet black shade on the toe boxes and collars. The rest of the upper features smooth black leather on the scuff-guards, mudguards, and quarter panels.

Black throats wrapped up in black laces that sit between black eyelet panels leading up to a pair of matching black tongues. On which Laser Blue “Nike Air” branding provides a pleasant contrast.

This “Laser Blue” hue also sparsely makes an appearance on the sock-liners and interiors. The Swooshes and midsoles, however, are what give this Air Max 90 its X-Factor.

The Cropped lateral Swooshes feature blue rose graphics. A symbol in various cultures for attaining the impossible.

These graphics also appear on the black midsoles, surrounding the exposed Air Units. Finally, rugged black outsoles complete the design for the Nike Air Max 90 Blue Floral.

It may be naive to hope that Nike may one day implement this concept. However, with a little bit of luck, it might just happen.

There’s much more to come so stay tuned!
